Summit Westminster Highlight: Footloose the Musical

What do you get when you combine dedicated students, two awesome directors, and a legendary musical? Well, a spectacular event, of course! The Summit Academy 9-12th graders recently put up their performance of Footloose the musical, YE (Youth Edition), and boy, did they shine! With three sold-out audiences, our talented young performers lit up the stage with their skills and enthusiasm.

These remarkable kids have been putting in extraordinary hard work since September, rehearsing every week to bring us a breathtaking show. Moreover, the students are divided into three different casts, leading to more opportunities for students in the spotlight. Not only that, but many of the children work behind the scenes, offering support with costume changes, set changes, and hair and makeup, to keep the other shows seamless. With the concerted effort of everyone, this show was a massive success.

We couldn't have achieved this without the exceptional leadership of Mrs. Lisa Mann and Mrs. Amy Stewart, who oversaw every aspect of the production, putting in tireless hours to ensure that their students' performances were top-notch. They are truly awe-inspiring!

Congratulations to our Summit Academy 9-12th graders for their amazing display of talent, hard work, and perseverance. It was an absolute pleasure to witness this unforgettable event. Keep rocking, guys!
