We are the Champions!

To say that the Girls Soccer team this year was incredible is an understatement. THEY WERE OUTSTANDING & ON FIRE!

Jefferson Academy Girls Soccer went 18-2 overall this season, which included a 14-game winning streak. They won the 3A championship 3-0 against Manitou Springs on May 23rd! This was the second title for the organization since 2018. Read more here, here, and here.

We also want to extend a HUGE congratulations to Kate Runyon for being named the Gatorade Colorado Girls Soccer Player of the Year! She is the first Gatorade Colorado Girls Soccer Player of the Year to be chosen from Jefferson Academy!!! “The Gatorade Player of the Year program annually recognizes one winner in the District of Columbia and each of the 50 states that sanction high school football, girls volleyball, boys and girls cross country, boys and girls basketball, boys and girls soccer, baseball, softball, and boys and girls track & field, and awards one National Player of the Year in each sport. The selection process is administered by the Gatorade Player of the Year Selection Committee, which leverages experts including coaches, scouts, media and others as sources to help evaluate and determine the state winners in each sport.” (chsaanow.com) What an honor!
