Morning Drop off - During the first couple of weeks of school, we allow parents/guardians to walk their students to class. Students should now be comfortable getting themselves to their classroom. Parents coming into the school building in the morning will be expected to sign in using our Raptor system at the office.

Earth Club began meeting on Tuesday, September 24 and will meet every Tuesday after school from 3 - 3:45 during the school year (weather permitting).   Earth Club is open to students in 3rd-6th grade.   Students who participate will spend time picking up trash around the outside of the school, collecting recyclable materials around the school, and doing other projects to help ‘beautify’ our school.  Your student will need a good pair of fitted gloves (preferably gardening).    Permission slips are available from Ms. Tucker in the Library.   Students need to see Ms. Tucker for the permission slip and these must be returned by September 24.

Hearing & Vision - Students in Jefferson County in grades Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th grade participate in a hearing and vision screening.  This will take place the first week of October.  If you do not want your student tested or have questions, please contact our Health Aide, Danielle Harding at dharding@jajags.com.

Hearing & Vision, many volunteers are needed! -  Wednesday, October 2, Thursday, October 3 and Friday, October 4 (especially on Thursday). Please contact Danielle Harding - dharding@jajags.com.
