School News
Late Starts/School Cancellations - There was some confusion on the late start of school this past Tuesday. This is a reminder that Jefferson Academy will follow Jefferson County Schools when they call for a late start or cancellation of school due to inclement weather. We do apologize for not having this important information posted on our website in a timely manner.
Friday, December 20 - This is an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. Lunch will not be served. Classrooms will be having their holiday parties on this day. Due to capacity levels, the only visitors that will be allowed to attend are those that have been assigned to be a volunteer by the classroom teacher/EA. Volunteers must refrain from bringing younger siblings.
Health Room - We have seen an increase in stomach virus, flu and strep throat in our students. Please keep your student home if they have symptoms. For the health and safety of all students, those students with fevers cannot be sent to school.
Current Families - All of our students will automatically be enrolled in JA for the 2025-2026 school year. Please take the time to log into EnrollJeffco to confirm your choice. This is very helpful for us in planning the upcoming school year. We have new families applying to attend next year. We will begin making offers toward the end of January to those that will be on our waitlist. If you do not plan on returning to JA, please contact Shelly Cohen at scohen@jajags.com.
Infinite Campus Parent Portal - Changes were recently made to the login process for Infinite Campus Parent Portal to better secure student data. This change affects the login process for the Infinite Campus mobile app and the website browser. Here is a link to support families. JeffcoHelp article.
