Community Cares

Community Cares is operated by Jefferson Academy and was born out of our own families needing assistance, resources, and support during the pandemic. We now offer assistance for families through partnerships with Jeffco Public Schools, A Precious Child, The Action Center, T-Mobile, and local organizations and food banks. There is no charge, and programs are supported by individual donations, the JA Foundation, JA PTO, JA Boosters, and granting organizations. Assistance is never guaranteed, but we will work to connect families with resources as needed.

🎁 Holiday Care Packages: Spreading Joy to JA/Summit Families!

The Holiday Care Packages are back, and we need your help to make the season brighter for our JA/Summit families! Many families in our community could use a little extra support to ensure this holiday season is filled with joy and warmth. If you’re able to help, please check out our list of needs and wishes and sign up as a donor. Whether you choose to sponsor an entire family, donate a single gift or gift card, or make a monetary donation—every contribution, big or small, makes a difference.

📅 Donation Details
Unwrapped (but labeled) donations will be collected from November 18th - December 9th at JA Elementary, JA Secondary, JA Coal Creek Canyon, and Summit Westminster. Drop-off boxes will be available in the front offices. Feel free to share the list with businesses or community members to help us reach even more families in need.

📝 How to Help
Be sure to read the instructions on the first tab of the donation sheet to ensure items are labeled correctly. If dropping off donations is a hardship, please reach out to our Community Engagement Specialist, Tiffany Blakley (CES), for assistance.
